Welcome to the
Grandview Heights 9-12 PTO!
First our Mission:
We are a parent-driven organization dedicated to spreading district-wide pride through spirit wear, recognizing our staff, and sponsoring quality programming and events for parents and students.
Welcome to the start of another school year at Grandview Heights High School! Elected in July, your PTO Officers are Laura Swanson, President; Kim Rowland, Vice President; Susan Jagers, Treasurer; and Gretchen Jeffries Everett, Secretary. We are parents like you who are very passionate about our children and our community.
We are looking forward to continuing to provide enriching and enjoyable programs and activities for the students, staff and families of Grandview Heights.
A big welcome to our new Principal, Rob Brown. Rob is an experienced leader and is dedicated to ensuring that our students and staff have the best learning environment possible. We are very excited to have him join the team.
This school year we will be supporting long-standing favorite programs such as After Prom, Spring Fling, and Spirit Wear. This past year, we also contributed to the success of Ms. Bova’s Memory Project, Mr. Theiss’ Bobcat Beverage program, and the Holiday Bazaar to name a few.
Spearheading the Spirit Wear program this year is the powerhouse trio: Adriann Hayes, Karen Smith and Megan Stanley. This year they will be rolling out a new Spirit Wear online ordering system. So besides purchasing Spirit Wear at games, events, and at State of Devotion, you will now be able to order your favorites online. Look for more information on this soon!
All of this takes the hard work and dedication of our community members. Each one of us has different skills, talents, and resources that are needed to make Grandview what it is. Even one hour of time is worth so much. A great first step in doing so is attending a monthly PTO meeting. The dates and times for the meetings will be posted on the website and on the Grandview Heights High School PTO Facebook page.
So please join me, the PTO Board, and your neighbors. With your help, we can strengthen and build our community to incredible heights.
